Return From Disney

"The sun melts snow and chocolate." said Atticus. Atticus & Mickey Mouse Lennon Honea as he has been referring to himself. He was clutching a chocolate coin left by the turn-down maid at our Disney hotel. It was soft and starting to leak. I could tell a lot by the brown smudges on the face of pure innocence in the seat behind me.

"You're not eating that are you?" I asked.

"No, just licking it." was the reply.

"Fair enough."

Atticus & Mickey Mouse Lennon Honea has a knack for working the angle. He manages, almost daily, to prolong the hours before bedtime, skip naps and eat whole apples in between meals (he has yet to make the difference between crap and nutritious snack items). He has a command of language, logic, technicalities and puppy dog eyes that make even the most absurd request seem plausible. It's a gift.

This son melts more than snow and chocolate.
