A Weekend in Pictures

Here are some pics from our anniversary/Mother's Day trip to Disneyland and an afternoon stop at Manhattan Beach.

Atticus created a Mrs. Potato Head in the shop back in Toon Town. The cast members were great and placed it on a shelf of honor, along with taking a picture of him with it and having him sign their "potato book". They said he was the youngest creator they had.

The tourist potato below Atticus' is one that Tricia made and they featured in a different store. There was not a book or helpful cast members in her story. Zane and I did not make potatoes.

Mickey in the Drink

If you know Atticus then you know Mickey Mouse. He carries the doll with him everywhere. Mickey was filthy, like people in the grocery store would comment on him, friendly enough, filthy. Today I managed to talk Atticus in letting the mouse bathe.

The water was dirtier than a mud puddle on a dirt road.

Well, Mickey seems to have made it through okay, and is currently drying. No need to send flowers.

Two Boys, A Mess & A Road Trip

We took the boys to visit friends and family in Tucson (Marana actually, return Ed Honea to mayor on March 13th!). We had a great time. The boys were good (aside from Zane's refusal to sleep) and enjoyed themselves immensely.

Thanks for the hospitality Arizona! Let us know when you would like the favor returned.
