MC Hic-izzle

Daddy says I’ve got hiccup style
Says I’ve been burpin’ for quite a while
He could pat me on the back
Or I could breathe into a sack
But he says the beat is good
And if I practice it I could
Be a professional hiccupee
As long as no one’s scaring me.

All Smiles (Go Cats!) Posted by Hello

The Music Man

Atticus Lennon is the smiling boy
Together we listen to jazz, pure joy
I call him Smiles Davis
And you know, the crazy thing is
I think he gets the joke
And even though he’s never spoke
He can skat like Louis Armstrong
Sure as the summer day’s long
With his goos and his coos
His coo-coo cachoos
He expresses the walrus
That lives inside all us
So I smile back, what else can I do?
I’m always a sucker for a goo and a coo.

Send an A-card!

Did you know that you can send an e-card featuring the one and only Atticus? It's right here on this page in the Bravenet box. Click on 'send a card' and choose from pictures and effects. It's fun and makes you look all sensitive and stuff. I sent one to my mom a few weeks back, and she still checks it at least once a day. Go on, make the boy a star and send someone you love an A-card!

HERE BE MONSTERS

There’s a monster in our family
With a back full of fur
He’s wooly and bully and often tom-fooly
More often than not
He’s just plain hot
With a coat of shag rug
On which I can tug
Whenever he’s got a hold of me
One quick pull will set me free
I wonder if he uses shampoo
To give that coif the appropriate do?
Mom says he should shave it off
Trying not to laugh I sort of cough
I don’t know why it’s funny to me
But shaving Dad’s back I’d like to see.

NOT BORED Posted by Hello

SPRING TRAINING

Bored I am, cuz board I got.
I found it in a vacant lot.
At first I thought it would be good
to laugh and play with a piece of wood,
but it don't smile, and it don't run.
So how does a board have any fun?

Poop for Thought

It's been 5 days and Atticus, while losing the fever, still has diarrhea. He's drinking plenty of fluids and doing the B.R.A.T. (bananas/rice/apples/toast) thing as instructed by the hospital, but, or should I say 'butt'. Period. That thing just keeps going. We've used more diapers in a week than in the previous month. Any ideas out there how to steady the flow?

Part of a Complete Breakfast

Daddy drinks coffee,
Mommy drinks tea,
A glass of milk does it for me.
Daddy eats a piece of toast,
Mommy eats fruit the most,
While it’s true I don’t care to boast
Sugar Yummy goes in my tummy.
And it has a toy in it too!

Just kidding! He doesn't eat that. Currently Atticus is on the B.R.A.T. diet. Bananas, rice, apples & toast. This is to stop his baby butt from flowing and has very little to do with his capacity for bratness.
